Joanne Slater

Joanne Slater has had extensive work experience in the field of audiology. Joanne began their career in 1989 as an Audiologist at St. Louis University Medical Center, Dept. of Otolaryngology, where they worked until 2001. In 2004, they joined Audiologyonline and continued as the Continuing Education Administrator and later as the Au.D., CCC-A, CEU Administrator / Associate Editor until 2014. In the same year, they also joined continued as the Director of Continuing Education Administration.

Joanne Slater completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders from Marquette University, starting in 1983 and graduating in 1987. Joanne then pursued further studies, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Audiology from Washington University in St. Louis between 1987 and 1989. Later, they enrolled at A.T. Still University of Health Sciences from 2007 to 2009, where they earned an Au.D. degree specializing in Audiology.
