Adrian Schmidt

Adrian Schmidt is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in foreign exchange strategy and analysis. Currently serving as Senior FX Strategist at Continuum Economics since December 2018, Adrian has previously held key positions including Head Analyst at FX Economics, Senior Policy Economist/FX Strategist at IDEAglobal, and Senior FX Strategist at Lloyds Bank, where substantial net trading profits were achieved. Notable achievements include calling the top of GBP in 2014 and developing profitable FX strategies at RBS Markets and International Banking. Adrian's career also features a tenure as Chief UK and European Economist at Chase Manhattan Bank, recognized for excellence in the Independent golden guru awards, and as Head of Currency Analysis at MMS International. Adrian holds a Master of Science in Economics from The London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Statistics from the University of Bristol.
