Dave Sloan

David Sloan is a Senior Economist at Continuum Economics, where responsibilities include forecasting and analyzing economic data for the US and Canada, and evaluating Federal Reserve and Bank of Canada policies. Previously, David served as an Economist/Journalist at Thomson Reuters, focusing on US economic forecasts and Federal Reserve policy with direct access to information, and held the position of Chief Economist for North America at 4CAST, where management of a team of economic analysts was a key responsibility. David began the career at IDEAglobal as a Senior Economist, forecasting for multiple countries and contributing to bond market strategies. David holds an MSc in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a BA in Geography from Durham University.
