Ivan Chon-Hou Chan

Ivan Chon-Hou Chan has a diverse range of work experience. Ivan Chon-Hou began their career at HYPED, a student society at the University of Edinburgh that competes in the SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition. During their time there, Ivan held various roles, including Mechanical Design Engineer and Head of Simulation, where they managed a sub-team and oversaw the design and testing of the hyperloop pod components.

Ivan's next professional experience was at Continuum Industries, where they worked as an AI Engineer and Optimisation Engine Developer. Continuum Industries specializes in linear infrastructure planning and design, allowing engineering teams to automate their design processes and use AI to explore various design options. Ivan contributed to this innovative work by utilizing AI and optimizing processes for infrastructure design.

Ivan Chon-Hou Chan pursued their education at The University of Edinburgh from 2015 to 2020. During this period, they completed a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree with a specialization in Mechanical Engineering.
