Wei Wu

Director of Engineering at CONTINUUS Pharmaceuticals

Wei Wu has a diverse work experience in engineering roles. From 2014 to 2014, they worked as a Process Engineer at Fluor Corporation, focusing on a plant design project. In 2014, they also served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Texas A&M University. From 2015 to 2017, Wei worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Northeastern University, where they researched and developed 3D printing biomaterials for nerve guidance channel scaffolds. In 2016, they had a graduate internship as a Process Development Engineer at CONTINUUS Pharmaceuticals, Inc. At CONTINUUS Pharmaceuticals, Wei continued to work and held various positions from 2017 onwards. Wei started as a Process Engineer, where they led the development of upstream processes, including continuous raw reaction mixture clarification and continuous reactive crystallization. Later, they became a Separation Technology Manager, where they specialized in developing continuous filtration and drying units for Integrated Continuous Manufacturing (ICM). Currently, Wei holds the position of Associate Director of Engineering at CONTINUUS Pharmaceuticals, and starting in 2023, they will assume the role of Director of Engineering.

Wei Wu has a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering, which they earned from Northeastern University from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering at Texas A&M University from 2011 to 2014. In addition to their degrees, Wei Wu obtained the certification of Engineer-in-Training from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying in October 2014.
