James Sparks

James Sparks is an experienced geologist with a solid background in project management and drilling coordination. Currently serving as a Project Geologist, Drilling Coordinator, and Staff Geologist at Contour Engineering, LLC since January 2020, James brings valuable expertise to the role. Prior to this position, James worked as a Staff Geologist and Project Manager at Universal Engineering Sciences, Inc. from January 2017 to November 2020. Earlier roles include Wellsite Geologist at Weatherford and Logging Geologist at Horizon Well Logging, LLC. James began a career in geology with an internship at Tellus Operating Group in 2012. James holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology/Earth Science from The University of Southern Mississippi, attained from 2012 to 2013.
