Brian Obindah

Brian Obindah is a seasoned professional in occupational health and safety, currently serving as the Security Safety and Environment Manager at ContourGlobal since February 2020. With a strong focus on legal compliance with Rwandan OSH and environmental laws, Brian has successfully implemented international standards such as ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, conducted incident management and emergency preparedness programs, and led health and safety committees at various levels. Previous roles include Senior Officer-Safety at KenGen, Environment Health and Safety Engineer at General Motors, and Environment Health and Safety Lead at Wartsila Eastern Africa, demonstrating a comprehensive background in health and safety management, risk assessments, and safety training. Brian holds a Master's degree in Occupational Safety and Health from Jomo Kenyatta University and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies from Kenyatta University.
