Heath Hanna has a diverse work experience in the mining and construction industry. Heath started their career in 2005 at Yancey Bros. Co., where they worked as a Product Specialist and later as a Quarry Specialist. In these roles, they gained expertise in sales and consulting for Caterpillar equipment, as well as production consulting, GPS technology, and operator training. In 2012, they joined Contour Mining and Construction as the Chief Executive Officer, where they focused on various projects in the agricultural, residential, commercial, and mining sectors. Currently, they are working as the Chief Executive Officer at Carolina Wrecking.
Heath Hanna earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics from Wofford College, where they studied from 2000 to 2003. Additionally, they obtained various certifications including Caterpillar Quarry Specialist and Caterpillar Sales Professional from Caterpillar, Inc. in February 2011, as well as Caterpillar Dealer Instructor in December 2009. In September 2012, they achieved the CEPSCI - Certified Erosion Protection & Sediment Control Inspector certification from Clemson University Extension. Furthermore, they obtained the GSWCC Level 1A certification from NPDES - GSWCC in April 2012, the First Aid certification from American Health Care Academy in October 2012, and the South Carolina General Contractor - GD4 certification from the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation in June 2012. Heath also acquired the Georgia Department of Transportation Contractor certification from the Georgia Department of Transportation in August 2012, and the MSHA Part 48-B Experienced Miner certification from MSHA in February 2012. Finally, they hold the Caterpillar ProMiner certification from Caterpillar, Inc. and the Georgia Speciality Contractor - Grading certification from the Georgia Department of Licensing and Regulation. The dates of completion for these two certifications are not provided.
