Eric Angstadt is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public administration and urban planning. Currently serving as the Chief Assistant County Administrator for Contra Costa County since May 2016, Eric has previously held significant roles, including Director of Planning and Development for the City of Berkeley from April 2012 to March 2016, where oversight included various essential divisions such as Planning, Building and Safety, and Energy and Sustainability. Prior to that, Eric was the Planning Director and Strategic Planning Manager for the City of Oakland from September 2006 to April 2012. Eric holds a Master's degree in Archaeology from Arizona State University and a Bachelor's degree in Archaeology from the University of Virginia.
