Joanne Chiu

Joanne Chiu has extensive experience in planning and land conservation, currently serving as Principal Planner for the East Contra Costa County Habitat Conservancy since October 2013. Prior to this role, Joanne worked as a Land Associate for the Peninsula Open Space Trust from February 2011 to October 2013, and held positions at the Los Angeles Mayor's Office in the Gang Reduction & Youth Development program, including Program Assistant for Summer Night Lights and Student Professional Worker. Joanne Chiu holds dual Bachelor's Degrees in Geography/Environmental Studies and History from UCLA, earned between 2005 and 2009.
