Jody London

Jody London is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sustainability and environmental policy. Currently serving as the Sustainability Coordinator for Contra Costa County since June 2016, Jody London manages the implementation of the County's Climate Action Plan and advises the Sustainability Committee and Sustainability Commission. Previously, Jody London was the President and Director for District 1 on the Oakland Unified School District Board of Education from 2009 to 2021, where significant advancements in social emotional learning and green school construction were achieved. As the Owner and Principal of Jody London Consulting from 2005 to 2016, Jody London provided strategic planning and advocacy focused on energy efficiency and renewable energy. Additional roles include Senior Program Manager at Grueneich Resource Advocates, Director at Working Assets, and Advisor to the Commissioner at the California Public Utilities Commission. Jody London holds a Master of Public Administration in Energy and Environment from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of California, Berkeley.
