Michael Casten currently serves as the Assistant Varsity Men’s Basketball Coach at Northgate High School since September 2023. In addition to this role, Michael has been the Undersheriff for Contra Costa County since July 1990. Previously, Michael was the Varsity Basketball Coach for Mt. Diablo Unified School District from September 2013 to February 2018. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice Management from California State University-Sacramento, completed between 1987 and 1990.
