John Becker

John Becker has extensive law enforcement experience, currently serving as Undersheriff at the Suffolk County Sheriff's Office since April 2002, following roles as Deputy Sheriff and Deputy Undersheriff. From January 2014 to March 2024, John held the position of President at the Suffolk County Deputy Sheriffs Police Benevolent Association. Previously, John was a Police Officer with the New York City Police Department from April 1997 to April 2002. John Becker holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from the State University of New York Cortland (1993-1995) and an Associate of Arts degree from Suffolk County Community College (1991-1993).
