Monica A. Mueller

Monica A. Mueller is an experienced legal professional with a strong background in environmental and worker safety law. Currently serving as Deputy County Counsel for Contra Costa County since May 2021, Monica previously held the position of Circuit Prosecutor for the Stanislaus County District Attorney's Office. Prior roles include serving as Circuit Prosecutor at the California District Attorneys Association and multiple positions within the Napa County District Attorney's Office, where Monica progressed from Attorney I to Attorney III. Early experience includes a Post-Bar Law Clerk role at the Santa Clara District Attorney's Office, as well as externships during law school at UCLA, where Monica graduated with a J.D. in 2014. With a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Stanford University, Monica has developed a solid foundation for effective legal practice.
