Sara Kate Levin

Sara Kate Levin serves as the Medical Director for CalAIM Programs and Case Management at Contra Costa Health Plan since May 2023. Previously, Sara held the role of Whole Person Care Physician Lead and STD Controller at Contra Costa Health Services from 2016 until November 2023. Prior to that, Sara worked as an Attending Physician and Department Chair of Internal Medicine at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center from March 2004 to November 2023. Sara completed residency training in Internal Medicine Primary Care at SFGH/UCSF from June 2000 to June 2003 and earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine between 1996 and 2000. Sara also holds a Bachelor's degree in Women's Studies from Columbia University, obtained from 1989 to 1993.
