Michael Hollis

Michael Hollis currently serves as Deputy CISO for the University of North Texas System and Business Information Security Officer for UNT Health Science Center, positions held since September 2022. Prior to this, Michael held the role of Information Security Officer at the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth from July 2017. Michael’s experience also includes serving as Senior Systems Analyst/Information Security Analyst and Accounts Administrator at UNT Health Science Center, and working as a Database Administrator at American Ironhorse Motorcycle Company. Earlier in Michael's career, roles included Colleague Database Administrator and Network Administrator/User Support Specialist at Texas Wesleyan University, where Michael earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications with a focus on Radio/Television.
