Steven Walters has extensive experience in software development and quality assurance, currently serving as Manager of Quality Assurance at Contract Services since January 2016. Previous roles include Software Engineer and Software Developer at the same company, Junior Software Developer at Employance, and Junior Web Developer at Wactek, where skills in PHP, MySQL, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS were honed. Contract Services
In the mid-1960s, the major film studios, in negotiations with Hollywood’s unions, founded the nonprofit Contract Services. Our purpose is to carry out the required provisions of the collective bargaining agreements between the film and television industry’s West Coast Studio Local Unions and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP), which govern the employment conditions of a freelance union workforce of approximately 50,000 people in the greater Los Angeles area. We do this through administering apprenticeship training and safety programs, maintaining seniority rosters, and implementing other industry-wide services.
