Juan Del Carmen Haro Muñoz is a collegiate engineer, graduated from the National Agrarian University La Molina, with a master's degree in Environmental Sciences and specialization in management and public finances and environmental management. He has developed courses on public investment projects, international cooperation and various topics in the country and abroad.
He has extensive experience in the public sector related to the executive management of multisectoral programs and projects at the national level, general management of policies and development plans with an emphasis on the provision of basic services and rural development. He also has experience in the private sector, related to the management, design and execution of surface and groundwater resource projects, with an emphasis on sustainable development.
He has served as Vice Minister of Construction and Sanitation, Executive Director of the National Rural Housing Program, General Director of Educational Infrastructure, General Director of Support and Regional Liaison of MIDAGRI, Director of the Office of Conflict Prevention of the MVCS, Advisor in the Ministries MTC and MIDAGRI, Sector Specialist in Agriculture, Rural and Environmental Development at the MEF; as well as Senior Technical Advisor in the German Development Cooperation (GIZ).
He has also been a member of the Board of Directors of SEDAPAL, National Water Authority - ANA, CAFAE Education Sector, Jequetepeque Zaña Special Project - PEJEZA, PROFONANPE, among others; as well as participated in various boards of directors of investment programs financed with international cooperation, and multisectoral working groups and commissions.
