Julia Sakamoto

Julia Sakamoto is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Associate General Counsel at CDP since December 2019, where previous roles included Legal Counsel and Contract Manager. Prior to this, Julia worked as a Legal Intern at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, focusing on data privacy and vendor agreements, and gained experience as a Law Clerk at Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, LLP. Julia also represented clients as a Student Intern at the Boston University Civil Litigation Clinic, addressing various legal issues under faculty supervision. Earlier roles as a Litigation Paralegal and Paralegal involved support in Asbestos/Toxic Tort Litigation at Gordon & Rees LLP and Wilson Elser, respectively. Julia holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Boston University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in History from Bryn Mawr College, supplemented by studies at UCL.
