Luiz Valério Salgado

Luiz Valério Salgado is an experienced supply chain management professional currently serving as the Supply Chain Director at Control iD since August 2023. Previously, Luiz held the position of Head of Procurement & Supply Chain at Marcopolo S.A., where responsibilities included leading negotiations with suppliers and developing long-term contracts for the rail and bus divisions. With a strong background in global procurement management, Luiz previously worked at Embraer, overseeing contracts valued at approximately $6 billion annually and managing teams across Brazil and the USA. Luiz also has a diverse experience at General Motors in various purchasing and production roles. Educational qualifications include degrees in Business Administration with a focus on Foreign Trade from Universidade de Taubaté, and advanced training in entrepreneurship and business development from FGV and FIA Business School.
