Thomas Gilfix

Thomas Joaquin G. is an experienced IT auditor and consultant currently working at Control Logics since April 2023, where responsibilities include conducting detailed IT audits and managing SOC 1 and SOC 2 reports to enhance cybersecurity and compliance frameworks. As the Vice President of Membership for UF AIS from August 2022 to May 2024, Thomas led initiatives that bolstered member engagement through over 50 events. In a previous role as Technology Consultant Project Manager, Thomas directed a team in the development of a web application utilizing WordPress, JavaScript, and SQL databases. Thomas began a career in cybersecurity as an Information System Intern at APR Energy, overseeing the creation of a comprehensive inventory management system valued at $50 million. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Information Systems with a concentration in Cybersecurity from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business from the University of North Florida.
