Allan Mahoney

Allan Mahoney is a seasoned professional with over 40 years of experience in land surveying and civil engineering. Currently serving as Geospatial Manager at Control Point Associates, Inc., since October 2014, Allan focuses on developing and refining workflows for the Leica Pegasus II Mobile Lidar system, encompassing mission planning, data acquisition, post-processing, and extraction. Previously, as Project Surveyor - BIM/Laser Scanning Project Manager at Langan Engineering from January 2010 to October 2014, Allan established a Scan to BIM workflow system and trained staff on various software applications. At Barton & Martin-Stantec, from March 1985 to January 2010, Allan was instrumental in pioneering 3D modeling within the firm's International Scan to BIM operations and supervised the team that created the BIM model of the White House.
