Arnar Freyr Björnsson

Arnar Freyr Björnsson has a strong background in sourcing and procurement. Arnar Freyr is currently the Director of Sourcing Operations & NPR at Controlant, a position they have held since March 2023. Before joining Controlant, Arnar worked at Alvotech, where they served as a Procurement Manager from February 2017 to March 2018 and as a Buyer from December 2015 to January 2017. Arnar Freyr began their career at Rio Tinto as a Sourcing Specialist, where they worked from November 2011 to December 2015.

Arnar Freyr Björnsson graduated from Háskóli Íslands in 2010 with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, specializing in Accounting and Finance.
