Thorsteinn Már Arinbjarnarson

Thorsteinn Már Arinbjarnarson has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Thorsteinn Már started their career at Hafmynd ehf (later acquired by Teledyne Technologies) as an Electrical Engineer, where they worked on the development of the 2nd generation Gavia Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (Gavia AUV). Thorsteinn Már then moved on to Teledyne Gavia, where they held various positions including Electrical Engineer, Senior Electrical Engineer, and Engineering Manager. In these roles, they managed a team of developers and worked on projects such as ROVINS integration, pressure compensation, and sensor development. Since 2015, Thorsteinn has been working at Controlant, starting as a Hardware Developer and eventually taking on roles with increasing responsibility, including Lead Hardware Developer, Engineering Manager - Hardware, and their current role as Vice President of Product. At Controlant, they have been involved in the development and growth of the company's hardware solutions, particularly in the domain of wireless monitoring equipment and data loggers.

Thorsteinn Már Arinbjarnarson obtained a BSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Háskóli Íslands in 2004. Thorsteinn Már then pursued an MSc in Applied Mathematics at DTU - Technical University of Denmark from 2005 to 2007.
