Richard Humphrey

Richard Humphrey has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Richard'smost recent position was as the Chief Product Officer at Contruent starting in 2023.

Prior to that, they held various leadership positions at Bentley Systems, including Vice President of Product Management where they led the product and business strategy for Bentley's Construction portfolio, growing the business by 400%. Richard also served as the Senior Director of Product Management, overseeing the Project Delivery portfolio and successfully launching the SYNCHRO Construction brand.

Before their time at Bentley Systems, Richard was the VP of Marketing at B2W Software from 2016 to 2018, where they led marketing and product marketing efforts for the company's software solutions in the construction industry.

Richard also had an extensive tenure at Autodesk, where they held several senior director roles. This includes leading product management and software development for Autodesk's infrastructure portfolio, driving the Infrastructure Owner business and product strategy. Additionally, they led industry marketing and was responsible for driving business and marketing strategies for Autodesk's infrastructure industry business.

Richard's earlier experience includes serving as a Product Line Manager at Teradyne, overseeing the development and launch of semiconductor test equipment. Richard also worked as a Project Manager at Clark Construction, managing construction projects and overseeing subcontractors, contract negotiations, scheduling, and financial reporting.

Richard Humphrey has a comprehensive education history with degrees and certificates in various fields. In 1988, they graduated from Tufts University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science in Civil Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University from 1991 to 1992. In 1996, Richard obtained their Master of Business Administration from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst, specializing in Business. Most recently, in 2022, they attended the MIT Sloan School of Management, where they completed a Certificate program in Mastering Product Design Thinking.
