Following that, they pursued a Master of Science in Civil Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University from 1991 to 1992. In 1996, Richard obtained their Master of Business Administration from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst, specializing in Business. Most recently, in 2022, they attended the MIT Sloan School of Management, where they completed a Certificate program in Mastering Product Design Thinking.
