Mike Walker is a Senior Research Advisor at ConvaTec GDC with over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare fields. An accomplished author, they have published more than 40 scientific works, including primary and secondary authorship on over 25 papers and four book chapters. Mike was elected a Fellow of the Society of Biology in 2009 and is an active member of several professional organizations, earning five ConvaTec Innovation Awards throughout their career. They completed a PhD at the University of Wales, Cardiff in 1991, following a Master of Philosophy from Nottingham University and a Bachelor's degree from The Manchester Metropolitan University.
