Jim Dolmas

Head of Monetary Policy & Assistant Vice President at Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas

Jim Dolmas is a Senior Research Economist and Advisor at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, where Jim has been since June 2000. Prior to that, Jim was an Assistant Professor at Southern Methodist University from August 1993 to June 2000. Jim also served as a Visiting Assistant Professor at The University of Texas at Austin from August 1998 to May 1999. Jim holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics from the University of Rochester, where Jim attended from 1987 to 1992. Jim also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics from the University of Chicago, where Jim studied from 1983 to 1987.
