Thomas Christophers

Thomas Christophers is an experienced risk management professional currently serving as the Director and Global Head of Risk at ConvaTec since August 2019. Previously, in his role as Head of Risk at Thames Water from January 2017 to August 2019, Thomas was instrumental in designing and implementing a new enterprise risk management framework, ensuring effective risk reporting to executive and senior leadership teams. Prior to that, Thomas held various positions at Centrica, including Group Risk Manager and Business Risk & Assurance Manager, where responsibilities included managing corporate-level risks and implementing risk systems for the CCGT Power Generation portfolio. Thomas began his career as a Lean Six Sigma Project Manager at Lonza, focusing on continuous improvement in manufacturing. Thomas earned a degree in Microbiology with Medical Biosciences from the University of Kent between 1999 and 2002.
