Alejandro Arrufat

Alejandro Arrufat is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as Engineering Manager at Convelio since January 2024. Previously, Alejandro held various roles at Stuart from April 2018 to June 2023, including Staff Engineer and Engineering Manager, where leadership and mentorship of engineering teams led to significant performance and stability improvements in backend systems. Alejandro's contributions included implementing Ruby microservices and leading the development of a Geocoding service that drastically reduced costs. Earlier experience includes positions as Backend Engineer at Nextail Labs and Platform161, where Alejandro enhanced data ingestion and developed a scalable Online Ad DSP Platform. Additionally, as Co-Founder and Principal Engineer at IMPROCEX INGENIERIA INFORMATICA SL, Alejandro established a software development company focused on Ruby on Rails, honing business and technical skills.
