Karen Gradowski Lewis, PMP, CSPO has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting in 1995, they worked as the Naumkeag Historic House Administrator for The Trustees of Reservations. From 1996 to 1997, they were the Research Institute Manager at Siena College. Karen then joined Heritage Museums & Gardens, where they served as the Assistant Director of Education and later became the Director of Interpretation and Public Programs.

In 2004, Karen joined Convention Data Services as a Registration Project Manager, managing multiple complex client-focused event projects simultaneously. Karen eventually became the Senior Registration Project Manager & Team Lead, overseeing a cross-functional project team and providing clients with on-time delivery of websites, databases, and event operations.

In 2016, Karen joined United Way of East Central Iowa and worked as the Senior Manager for Community Building and Education. In this role, they created education project plans and implemented agile project methodology across multiple departments.

Returning to Convention Data Services in 2017, Karen assumed the role of Senior Registration Project Manager and Product Owner. Karen was responsible for gathering and prioritizing product feature and function requests for Registration products and successfully delivering three new software products on time. Karen was recently promoted to the position of Director of Product Management, where they are ensuring the on-time delivery of four B2B product lines and overseeing the launch of new database tools and mobile products.

Throughout their career, Karen has demonstrated their ability to manage projects, lead teams, and deliver results. Karen has strong experience in product management, agile methodology, and stakeholder engagement.

Karen Gradowski Lewis has a diverse education history that spans across various fields. Karen obtained a Project Management Professional Certification from UMass Boston in 2014. Prior to that, they pursued higher education at University at Albany, SUNY, from 1994 to 1996, where they earned their MA in American History and Museum Studies. Karen completed their undergraduate studies at Siena College from 1990 to 1994, earning a BA in History. In addition to their academic degrees, Karen has obtained multiple certifications, including Certified Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), and PMP - Project Management Professional. These certifications were acquired from reputable institutions such as Scrum Alliance and the Project Management Institute, with the most recent certification obtained in 2022.
