Alex Beavan

Alex Beavan is an experienced professional specializing in ethics and anti-corruption, currently serving as the Director and Head of Ethics and Anti-Corruption at Convera since March 2022. In this role, Alex manages and oversees investigations related to ethics, code of conduct, whistleblowing, financial crime, and fraud. Prior to Convera, Alex held multiple senior management positions at Western Union Business Solutions from August 2017 to March 2022, focusing on the investigation of internal and external fraud, as well as anti-money laundering (AML) cases. Alex's extensive background includes a 30-year tenure at the Metropolitan Police, where roles included Accredited Financial Investigator, Intelligence Officer, and Fraud Manager. Alex holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Policing and Police Studies from the University of Portsmouth.
