Kevin McGhee

Kevin McGhee has over 30 years of experience in senior pastoral roles. Kevin served as the Senior Pastor at Bethany Community Church in Laurel, MD from 1986 to 2018. During their time there, they were the lead teaching pastor and also served as the president of the Laurel Clergy Association. In 2018, they joined Converge Worldwide as the Director of U.S. Engagement.

Kevin McGhee pursued their education in a methodical and focused manner, beginning in 1974 and concluding in 1986. Kevin'sjourney began at the United States Naval Academy, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Oceanography. This educational endeavor lasted for four years, and they successfully completed their studies in 1978. Following this, Kevin shifted their focus to theology and attended Talbot Theological Seminary from 1984 to 1986. During this period, they obtained a Master of Divinity degree, specializing in Theology. Kevin's education highlights their diverse interests and determination to gain expertise in different fields.
