Chad Garrish

Chad Garrish has an extensive work experience in engineering, product design, and data management. Starting in 1995, they worked as a Designer at Roper Pumps, for which they were issued a patent for a gear pump design. In 1999, they took on the role of Product Designer at Genzyme Biosurgery, where they designed two products that led to the issue of two patents. In 2001, they became the Engineering Systems Administrator at The Peachtree Companies (Peachtree Doors and Windows), where they completed one of the first multi-site, geographically distributed PDM implementations. From 2004 to 2008, they worked at Smiths Medical as a Sr. Mechanical Designer and CAD - PDM Admin, managing the company's engineering environment and playing a vital role in the design of several key products. In 2008, they founded Edge Innovative Solutions (EIS) and served as Chief Technical Officer, growing the company from a single design consultant to a thriving engineering services firm. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as a Consultant at ViaSat. In 2011, they founded EpiGrid, LLC and served as Chief Technical Officer, becoming the THE pioneer and the only certified solution partner for Hosted/Cloud SOLIDWORKS solutions. Finally, in 2018, they founded Converge, a VAR and member of the SOLIDWORKS Professional Channel, offering a new and exciting experience to SOLIDWORKS customers.

Chad Garrish attended North Georgia Technical Institute from 1993 to 1995. Chad also holds a SolidWorks Certified Professional certification from Dassault Systems.
