Laura Young

Laura Young is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in health information technology and interoperability. As the Co-Founder and Managing Director at Converge Health since 2016, Laura has led initiatives to integrate behavioral health and social determinants of health data into health information exchanges (HIEs), enhancing care coordination for high-need populations. Previous roles include Executive Director at San Diego Health Connect and healtheConnect Alaska, where Laura spearheaded organizational transformations, secured QHIO designations, and implemented comprehensive consent strategies. With a strong background in technology and operations management at various organizations, including Dignity Health and Banner Health, Laura has consistently improved operational efficiency, increased provider participation, and successfully guided numerous strategic initiatives in the healthcare sector. Laura holds degrees in Information Technology and Health Services Management from multiple institutions.
