James Routledge

James Routledge has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. James currently holds the position of VP of Product at Converge since 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Chief Product Officer at Harper from 2021 to 2022, where they focused on the mental health and wellbeing of patients undergoing medical treatment. James also served as a VP of Product / Product Leader (Scale-up / Unicorn) in a freelance capacity throughout 2021.

In 2018, James co-founded Local Halo and served as the Chief Product Officer. Local Halo aimed to connect neighbors and promote a sense of togetherness in communities. Before that, they were a VC Investor and Advisor at Walking Ventures in 2017. James also co-founded Dinghy, a fully regulated insurance business targeting freelancers, from 2017 to 2018.

From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a VC Investor at Lean Investments LP, where they focused on investing in European companies and providing strategic guidance on product-market fit and growth. Before that, James was a Product Manager at Simply Business, the UK's leading digital insurance broker from 2012 to 2014. James started their career at reed.co.uk, where they held engineering and product management roles from 2010 to 2012.

James Routledge attended the University of Hull from 2004 to 2007, where they earned a BSc in Computing, Media, Business, and Technology. In addition, they obtained a certification in Prince 2 from Prince in January 2011.
