Jeremy Pownall

Jeremy Pownall has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Jeremy is currently the Head of APAC at Converge, a position they have held since December 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Growth at Deskera from December 2019 to December 2020, and as the Business Development Manager SEA from April 2019 to December 2019. Before transitioning into the tech industry, Jeremy worked at Allianz Australia Limited, where they held various roles including Sales Program Manager - Financial Institutions from October 2015 to October 2017, Assistant Product Manager from November 2014 to October 2015, and Leadership Graduate from February 2013 to December 2014. Jeremy also gained experience as a Project Manager at ExtraOptions, specializing in hotel de-fitting and furniture sales, from September 2010 to December 2012. Jeremy began their career as a Volunteer Missionary at LDS from March 2008 to March 2010. In addition to their professional endeavors, Jeremy co-hosted the Careering Podcast from July 2020 to July 2021, where they explored various career paths and provided insights and recommendations.

Jeremy Pownall holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from INSEAD, which they obtained in December 2018. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree in International Business from Macquarie University. Jeremy also has a Graduate Certificate in Risk Management & Insurance from Deakin University and a Diploma of Insurance Broking from ANZIIF. Additionally, Jeremy completed their High School Certificate (HSC) from Marian College Kenthurst.
