Tim Williams

Tim Williams has a diverse work experience in the field of technology solutions. Tim is currently working as a Senior Solutions Architect at Converge Technology Solutions Corp. since July 2022. In this role, they collaborate with a national sales team, focusing on server/storage/backup/DR solutions and data protection. Tim is also responsible for SOW scoping, BOM building, and design. Tim partners with all AEs in the company to deliver quality solutions and service.

Prior to that, Tim worked at PDS, a Converge Company, from December 2019 to July 2022. Tim served as a Solutions Architect, specializing in business data and data protection solutions.

Before joining PDS, Tim held various positions at PDS and Information Technology Professionals, LLC. From August 2019 to December 2019, they worked as a Solutions Architect at PDS. Tim'sresponsibilities included scoping and selling solutions, consulting work within client environments, and identifying opportunities. Prior to that, Tim worked as a Datacenter Architect at PDS from May 2016 to August 2019. In this role, they collaborated with Account Directors and Solution Architects to scope and sell solutions, conducted consulting work within client environments, and identified opportunities.

From May 2015 to May 2016, Tim worked at Information Technology Professionals, LLC as a Senior Consulting Engineer and Team Lead. Tim'srole involved a complete understanding of the company's product and service offerings, as well as technical support tools. Tim also led and coached the technical staff and actively communicated with team members.

Earlier in their career, Tim worked at Information Technology Professionals, LLC as a Consulting Engineer from March 2014 to May 2015. In this role, they focused on sales engineering, designing, building, and implementing solutions for small and medium businesses. Tim collaborated with account managers to design presentations and deliverables, and worked with various technical contacts to understand their IT needs and build technology roadmaps.

Tim's work experience also includes a role as a Systems Engineer at Core BTS from July 2009 to February 2014. Tim was responsible for upgrading, maintaining, and servicing internal datacenters, as well as resolving problems with vendors and building/maintaining virtual infrastructures.

In terms of certifications, Tim obtained the Nutanix Certified Systems Engineer Level 1 from Nutanix in February 2019, the VMware Certified Professional 7 - Desktop and Mobility from VMware in January 2019, and the VMCEv9 from Veeam Software in November 2016.
