Vijay Gandrapu

Vijay Gandrapu has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Vijay is currently working as an Application Developer at Converge Technology Solutions Corp. Prior to this, they worked as an Advanced Software Developer at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where they were involved in the development of the Patient Portal and Microservices API using C#/.Net and SQL.

Vijay also served as a Senior Web Developer at Miami-Dade County, where they contributed to the development of new features and enhancements for a Self-Service Application. Additionally, Vijay has experience as a Management Trainee at Punjab National Bank, a Python Pandas Data Analyst at Inniti Alliance, a Freelance Python Django Developer at STOPit, and a Python Django Developer at Amtex Systems.

Earlier in their career, Vijay worked as a Software Engineer at Tele Services International, where they developed and tested a Tele Provisioning tool using Core Java and contributed to the development of a translation tool. Vijay began their career as a Graduate Engineer Trainee at Larsen & Toubro Limited, where they gained experience in project management and scheduling for a Thermal Power Plant.

Throughout their career, Vijay has demonstrated proficiency in various programming languages and technologies, including Python, Django, AngularJS, and Java. Vijay has experience in web development, data analysis, and software engineering, working on projects involving application development, database management, and interface design.

Vijay Gandrapu completed their Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University in 2018. Prior to that, they attended the University of Florida from 2010 to 2011, where they pursued Electrical and Computer Engineering. Vijay obtained their Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, from 2005 to 2009. Before starting their higher education, Vijay attended D. A, V. Senior Secondary School in Mogappair, Chennai, from 2003 to 2005, and D. A. V. Higher Secondary School in Mogappair, Chennai, from 2001 to 2003.

Additionally, Vijay has acquired several certifications. Vijay obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera in April 2022. In December 2020, they obtained a certification in "Balancing Multiple Roles as a Leader" from LinkedIn, and in November 2020, they obtained a certification in "Leadership Foundations: Leadership Styles and Models" from the same platform. Furthermore, they are a Certified SAFe® 5 DevOps Practitioner, certified by Scaled Agile, Inc., which they obtained in September 2020.
