Convergence Blended Finance
Chris Clubb is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in blended finance, investment strategy, and risk management. Since July 2016, Chris has served as Managing Director at Convergence Blended Finance, focusing on connecting public and private investors for co-investment in emerging markets. Prior to this role, Chris held various senior positions at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development from 2002 to 2016, including Director for Early Transition Countries, where strategic investments were directed across multiple regions. Significant experience also includes a tenure as Senior Banker at the European Investment Bank and Director of Risk Management at Export Development Canada, where expertise in project finance and credit risk management was developed. Chris holds a Master of Science in International Finance from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from Queen's University.

Their global membership includes public, private, and philanthropic investors as well as sponsors of transactions and funds. They offer this community a curated, onlineplatform to connect with each other on blended finance transactions in progress, as well as exclusive access to tailored training and original knowledge products such as case studies and reports. To accelerate advances in the field, Convergence also provides grants for the design of vehicles that could attract private capital to global development at scale.
