Rob Anderson

CEO at Convergence MediaGroup

Rob Anderson began their career in 1983 as the Owner/Operator of the US Custom Guitar Company/Andersson Custom Guitars. Rob developed the company into a design and manufacturing firm and developed a strong US customer base. In 1993, they became the Director of Sales and Marketing for Warner Music Poland/Polton, where they established a sales team and expanded the distribution network by 100%. In 1998, they were appointed Vice President of Ad Sales for MTV Russia, where they established the Commercial (Ad Sales) Department for the newly launched local language MTV channel and doubled sales each year during their tenure. In 2001, they founded Convergent Media Group and became the Chief Executive Officer of Convergent Media Group Croatia. In 2008, they were promoted to CEO of Convergent Media Group, where they set the company on an aggressive growth and reinvestment plan that yielded unprecedented sales and profit increases. During this time, the company expanded to include projects in over 60 countries and successfully implemented an ambitious internal development and skill building/internal training program. The company also completed its first acquisition.

Rob Anderson completed their MBA in Marketing and International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management in 1993. Prior to that, they obtained a BA in International Business, Marketing, and French from Cal State Fullerton, College of Business and Economics between 1987 and 1990. Rob also attended Uppsala University in 1987 to study Swedish and Economics. Anderson's educational journey began at Allan Hancock College in 1985, where they studied Business and Music.
