Emerson Galfo has held various C-level positions since 1996. Emerson began their career as the Chief of Staff to the CEO of RT Group of Companies, a major textile/apparel manufacturing/import & export conglomerate. Emerson then became the CFO of Myriads Funding Corp in 1999, followed by the Controller of American Himalayan Foundation in 2000. In the same year, they were appointed as the Family Office Controller of Blum Capital Partners. In 2004, they became the CFO of Innovative Bank, a $300M Community Bank. Emerson then moved on to Quicksort, Inc. in 2008 as CFO, where they helped make the company more attractive to potential buyers. In 2012, they joined the Board of Golden Gate Opera, a non-profit organization whose mission is to enrich the community's experience by providing access to a myriad of fine arts found in live, professional opera. In 2014, they became a Contributor at Proformative, where they provided over 827 answers and comments on the site's Question and Answer Forum. In 2016, they were appointed as CFO of Convergence of 4 Dimensions LLC, where they were tasked with building the finance and operations infrastructures for a virtual gaming universe that has a blockchain backbone.

Emerson Galfo obtained a Bachelor of Science in Commerce with a focus in Accounting from San Beda University between 1982 and 1986. Emerson then obtained a Master in Business Administration with a focus in Information Systems from De La Salle University between 1988 and 1993. Prior to this, they obtained a High School degree from Notre Dame of Greater Manila between 1978 and 1982. Additionally, they obtained a CPA - Phils. certification from the Professional Regulation Commission - Philippines in 1988.
