Barbara Hamlington

Barbara Hamlington has over 10 years of experience in the medical field. Barbara began their career in 2011 as an Oncology Genetic Counselor at Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers. Barbara was later promoted to Supervisor, Genetic Counseling. In 2016, they moved to Invitae where they held the role of Clinical Science Liaison, followed by Director, Clinical Science Liaisons. Most recently, in 2022, they were appointed Senior Director, Medical Affairs at Convergent Genomics.

Barbara Hamlington obtained a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Michigan and a Master of Science in Genetic Counseling from the same institution. In August 2012, they were certified as a Genetic Counselor by the American Board of Genetic Counseling.
