Rohit Dharupta

Rohit Dharupta has over 16 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Rohit has held various roles at Tata Communications, starting as a Voice NOC India in 2005. Rohit then moved on to become an Assistant Manager, Global Voice Fault Management, where they played a key role in launching the setup of International NOC operations at Pune. Rohit later became a Manager, Real Time Service Management, where they managed a voice traffic monitoring team and implemented proactive fault picking strategies. In 2015, they took on the role of Senior Manager, Proactive Monitoring and Roaming Operations, Voice and Mobile, where they managed a NOC team and handled proactive monitoring, incident and complaint management. Rohit also authored a disaster management document to predict critical network failures and implemented capacity/traffic controls to handle peak traffic periods. Rohit then transitioned to the role of Senior Manager, Tier 3 Support, Global Voice Operations, where they supported International Voice gateways and services, achieving network geo-redundancy and onboarding customers and services. From 2018 to 2020, they served as the Senior Manager, Tier 3 Support, Global Mobile Operations, where they managed a global mobile Tier 3 team and developed an advanced approach to resolving complex technical faults. Currently, Rohit is the Director of Operations at Convergia.

Rohit Dharupta obtained their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela, where they studied from 2001 to 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Rohit has also obtained several certifications in various fields. Rohit received the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March 2021. In January 2021, they obtained certifications in 5G: Technologies, Architecture and Protocols from Udemy and ITIL® Foundation Certificate, ITIL 4 Edition from AXELOS Global Best Practice.

Furthermore, Rohit has completed a series of online courses and obtained certifications from LinkedIn. These include courses and certifications such as Building Resilience as a Leader, Ken Blanchard on Servant Leadership, Leading Organizations: Ten Timeless Truths (getAbstract Summary), Leading in Crisis, Ram Charan on Coaching High Potentials, Sheryl Sandberg and Adam Grant on Option B: Building Resilience. These certifications were obtained in December 2020. Additionally, they completed courses on 5G Technology Strategy: Next-Generation Mobile Networking and Introduction to 5G in July 2020 and June 2020, respectively.
