West Shell III is the current Chairman at Conversa Health. Prior to this, they Co-Founded Conversa Health with Phil Marshall MD MPH. They created this company in order to help doctors and patients stay connected and informed between office visits. Conversa is an intelligent Patient Relationship Management (PRM) platform that allows doctors to deliver continuous, personalized 'digital check ups', which secures and analyses patient generated data helping improve engagement, outcomes and satisfaction while lowering costs. West Shell III was also the Chairman Emeritus at Healthline Networks, Inc. where they joined in 2005 as chairman and CEO. Over 8 years, they directed the transformation of Healthline from a small start-up into a diversified, profitable health information services company that has ranked in the top 250 fastest growing companies in the country, 4 times (Deloitte Technology Fast 500). Achieved +45% revenue CAGR over 8 years. Healthline delivers engaging search, content and applications that touch over 100M consumers every month on behalf of blue chip customers such as Aetna, AARP, Elsevier, GE, IBM, Microsoft, Pfizer, United Healthcare and Yahoo. Raised $50M in funding. 120 employees. Before Healthline, West Shell III was the Co-Founder, CEO & President at Sapias. They developed an advanced telematics platform to become a leading provider of intelligent mobile workforce management solutions. Application and services focused on tracking and managing large fleet operations with customers including Apria Healthcare, Hudson News, NSTAR, ServiceMaster, Time Warner cable and United Road Service. Raised $17M in funding during worst capital market in 25 years. 30 employees. Acquired by Wireless Matrix in 2007.

West Shell III has a BS in Marketing from the University of Vermont and a HS diploma from The Gunnery. West majored in marketing and minored in philosophy at the University of Vermont. West was also the advertising manager for the Vermont Cynic, the director of the student photography service, and a varsity soccer and lacrosse player.
