Olaf Igesz

Olaf Igesz has a diverse background in various industries. Olaf is currently the Co-Founder of CDI Services, a position they have held since 2021. In 2022, they also co-founded CDI Foundation, where they serve as a Board Member. CDI Foundation is a non-profit organization focused on developing and promoting design standards for conversational AI Assistants.

Before their current roles, Olaf was the Co-Founder and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) of Conversation Design Institute, which specializes in teaching a human-centric workflow for conversation design. Olaf worked closely with tech partners, agencies, and industry players to establish Conversation Design Institute as a leading platform in this field.

Prior to that, Olaf served as a Partner and Managing Director at Buyerminds, a digital marketing agency. There, they utilized their background in psychology and digital design to help companies shape audience behaviors through persuasive interaction design, visual design, copy, and content for online channels.

Olaf also co-founded Dopamine Lab BV in 2013, where they developed a proactive chatbot implementation tool called 1Question. This tool offered an alternative to traditional forms, surveys, sales funnels, and advisory tools.

Earlier in their career, Olaf held various positions at R&D MEDIA, including Creative Director, Manager Product & Design, and Manager Art Director. Olaf was responsible for designing innovative campaigns, managing design and video editing teams, and overseeing the creative department in the company's Malaysian office.

Olaf's work experience also includes a role as a Copywriter at Talpa, Content & Marketing Manager at VERISIGN, and Quality Assurance Officer at Vodafone.

Olaf Igesz began their education at Murmellius Gymnasium Alkmaar in 1987 and completed their high school education there in 1995. Afterward, they attended Utrecht University in 1995-1996, where they earned one-year certificates in Law. Olaf then went on to enroll at the University of Amsterdam, pursuing Art History from 1996 to 2001. Additionally, during their time at the University of Amsterdam, they also studied Cultural Studies from 1998 to 1999.
