Gaurav Gola

Gaurav Gola has held various roles in the field of applied machine learning. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Product Engineer at ConverseNow.AI. From 2019 to 2021, they worked at Fynd (Shopsense Retail Technologies Pvt. Ltd.) as a Senior Engineer - Applied Machine Learning, where they built and led a real-time virtual makeup try-on solution on edge devices and developed a Custom Face Mesh approach for generating a realistic makeup look. Gaurav also worked as an Engineer - Applied Machine Learning, where they developed various clothes attribute classification models and deployed them in an EC2 instance, later moving them to a kubernetes cluster. From 2018 to 2019, Gaurav worked at Quantiphi, Inc. as a Machine Learning Engineer, where they worked on a NLP project for Knowledge graph and Data Dashboard generation over client’s data, applied several Natural Language Processing (NLP) Techniques for Extracting Information from Client’s data, and performed Named-entity recognition (NER). Gaurav also worked on a NLP project for text classification of descriptions of clothes.

Gaurav Gola completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from G.L.A University in Mathura between 2013 and 2017. Prior to that, they completed their 12th from Central Academy School (C.B.S.E) in 2012 and their 10th from Hasdeo Public School (C.B.S.E) in 2011. Before that, they attended Kendriya Vidyalaya from 2000 to 2008.
