Ben Sheldon

Ben Sheldon is a skilled actuary with extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as Group Chief Actuary and UK Chief Actuary at Convex Insurance since March 2020. Prior experience includes roles as Group Head of Reserving at Fidelis Insurance and Reserving and Reporting Manager at Munich Re Underwriting LTD, where responsibilities included producing best estimate reserves and managing reserving processes. Ben's career began at Catlin, where initial responsibilities as an Actuarial Analyst evolved into overseeing group-wide reserving. Ben holds a Master's degree in Mathematical Physics from the University of Nottingham, obtained in 2007.
