Hemang Rawal

Hemang Rawal is a Chartered Accountant and currently serves as the Global Financial Controller at Convex Insurance since November 2023. Previously, Rawal held various significant roles in the finance sector, including Director of Group Finance and Head of Group Financial Reporting and Control at Hiscox from March 2018 to September 2023. Additional experience includes positions such as Interim Chief Accountant at Aviva, Head of Group Financial Reporting at RSA, and Interim Financial Controller at Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Co. (Europe) Ltd. Rawal’s earlier career includes a role as Head of Finance at Aviva plc and Group Finance Manager at Delta Lloyd. Educational qualifications include a BA (Hons) in Law & Accounts from Kingston University, a Legal Practice Course from the College of Law Chester, and studies in Dentistry at Cardiff University, along with education at INSEAD and ICAEW.
