Hugh Lobban

Hugh Lobban is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Head of Data Quality at Convex Insurance since September 2020, where additional responsibilities include Head of Financial Reporting and CES Controller, as well as Financial Close Controller. Prior to this role, Hugh held the position of Finance Change Manager at Tokio Marine HCC from August 2019 to September 2020. Hugh's earlier roles include Lead Financial Analyst (Expenses) at MS Amlin, Senior Financial Accountant at Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance (London Management) Ltd, and Assistant Financial Accountant at Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Group. Hugh holds a B.Com (Hons) in Accounting, Financial Management, Tax, and Auditing from the University of Johannesburg, completed between 2005 and 2009.
