Robina Malik

Robina Malik serves as General Counsel at Convex Insurance since May 2019, previously holding the position of Group General Counsel. Prior to this, Robina worked as a Consultant for EC3 Consultants in mid-2018 and as General Counsel and Head of Compliance, Risk & Regulatory Affairs for Asia Pacific at XL Catlin from August 2012 to December 2017, overseeing legal, regulatory, and compliance matters across multiple countries. Before XL Catlin, Robina was UK General Counsel at Catlin from March 2001 to August 2012, managing corporate and commercial issues, and held the role of Corporate Counsel, where responsibilities included advising various departments on significant corporate matters. Early career experience includes training at Ashurst and roles at Catlin Underwriting Agencies Limited as an Assistant Underwriter and Claims Adjuster. Robina holds an LLB Hons degree from the University of East London and A Levels from Coopers Company & Coborn School.
